Beyonce and hubby Jay-Z reportedly dropped into St. Tropez for a walk along the beach, with Beyonce wearing three prints – in one ensemble. Look very carefully ladies. This is how NOT to wear prints. Not only do the patterns clash, but the cut of the high-waisted shorts is terribly unforgiving for anyone with curves. And just in case you weren’t cringing already, B added a safari-come-grrrr bag to the mix.

Madonna & Jesus Luz

Age Difference: 28 years

Madonna, 51, is always one to take things to the extreme. She’s currently dating Jesus Luz, a Brazilian model who, at 23, is less than half her age. The duo met during a photoshoot for W magazine. According to the gossip mags this couple is constantly breaking up, getting back together, and all the while considering marriage and babies, so who knows what their current status is.

At Oppikoppi 2009 – the insane music festival in the veld, which last year was branded “Smoorverlief” – the craziest night by far was the last one, when Die Antwoord hijacked the stage. I was standing near the back of a crowd that easily numbered six thousand; all the way to the front there were arms pumping the air and people screaming in off-the-hook abandon. On stage were two tall white men and a diminutive blonde chick, who was swearing at everyone. The standout track was “Wat kyk jy”, which has Watkin “Waddy” Tudor Jones aka the Ninja (formerly known as Max Normal) asking the questions, and Yo-landi “Rich Bitch” Visser (the tiny blonde) answering.

Here’s how the chorus goes: Wat kyk jy? Fokol. Wat kyk jy? Poes. Wat kyk jy? Fok jou. Wat kyk jy? Jou naai.

The videos are funny– an especially memorable shot in “Zef Side” shows a slow-motion close up of Ninja’s swinging balls underneath Dark Side of the Moon boxers– but there is also a post-modern Ali G factor. Considering the mix of absurdity, genuine talent, and impressive production values, you can’t help but think “are these guys for real?” And it’s that curiosity that made me temporarily obsessed with Die Antwoord on first glance.

Tina Fey famously held onto her virginity until she was 24, but one woman wrote about waiting until 32! …And not because of religion! Reasons ranged from fear it would hurt, anxiety about pregnancy and STDs, and a five-year illness until the reason was simply virginity itself. Why give it up if you’ve waited so long? Plus, sometimes the fear of revealing virginity after a certain age becomes a fear itself.

And… she was only a one night stand! After meeting at a nightclub the pair had a “drink-and-drug fuelled four-day fling”. But when he woke in the morning he found she had carved “Dominique” on his right shoulder. He also had multiple slashes on his left shoulder and arm and a star design on his back. She claimed that he agreed to the “tattoos” but he said he had not consented. Wayne was so drunk he didn’t feel a thing!

A Russian woman got so upset by the news that her boyfriend intended to leave her that she tied several firecrackers to his penis and exploded them.

Kristina Pongracz: The gold digger beat up her 77-year-old boyfriend with his cane. The lovebirds were at a hotel when police received a domestic call. It seems Pongracz had gotten hammered and decided to take her drunken anger out on the old man. By the time police arrived, Herchenrider was laying on his bedroom floor covered in blood. The very hammered Pongracz was equally bloodied and passed out next to him. He’s still in the hospital with severe injuries, but is expected to survive. The gold digger, meanwhile, has presumably recovered enough from her hangover to realize she’s been charged with malicious wounding.

Lisa Marie Coker: This teenager girl crashed her ex-boyfriend’s wedding reception armed with a razor and a crowbar.  The mother of the groom, answered a knock at the door to find Coker standing in the doorway. When Hosey refused to allow Coker in, the uninvited wedding crasher attacked her with the crowbar until she was finally disarmed of it. The confrontation then degenerated into a bout of hair pulling. Eventually, Coker sought to end the conflict by slashing the groom’s mother with a razor blade.

Warcraft addicted girlfriend: The girlfriend who deleted her boyfriend’s entire world of Warcraft characters at levelo 80.  Check out the video which features the poor bastard’s girlfriend recording the experience while explaining her logic for deleting all those WoW characters.

What we call French kissing, the French call baiser avec la langue (kiss with tongue) or for slang patin (ice-skating shoe). Like a figure eight, I guess? I can’t even imagine what horrid imitations come out of that!

It’s unclear who coined the phrase, but France has been the unofficial romance capital of the world for centuries. If France equals romance, and a romantic kiss involves tongue, then it must be a French kiss? It’s kind of a euphemism, really. Less gross than “tongue kiss,” catchier than “open-mouth kiss,” and not affiliated with ice skating in any way.

So where did it come from? If we’re going to credit anyone then it probably should be the British and American soldiers of World War I. Upon returning home from Europe, they showed their wives and girlfriends what they learned and called it a French kiss.

In the video, which you can watch below, she also receives a fatal gunshot to the head at the scene where President John F Kennedy was assassinated in 1963. The shoot was inspired by dance punk duo Matt And Kim, who stripped in Times Square, for their 2009 single ‘Lessons Learned’.

Of course there were signs all night that it wasn’t going to end well. Like when she went outside to boot and rally. Or when she wrestled some stranger’s phone out of his hands (she lost hers) so she can call her ex boyfriend. And of course there was that moment when she was standing on top of a wobbly table singing some random song.
