Does Rihanna have what it takes for movies?

Rihanna is venturing into new waters with her first big-screen acting gig! The singer has signed on for Battleship, the film adaptation of the classic board game, except, you know, with Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, and aliens.
The premise makes this one sound like a risky project to use as your big debut, so here’s hoping it’s not yet another singer-to-actor sinker, like Glitter was for Mariah Carey.
What do you think — does Rihanna have what it takes for movies? Or should she stick to her music?

I think she should go for it,not in our lives does such opportunities prevails in front of us. Who knows she might decide to go on movies and leave music and after all she in an actress if you know what I mean! She has already released music dvd’s of which will act on her benefit though yes we know they are not the same as movies. The best and last thing to say to her I guess is to say all the best.
i think so, from her videos one can tell that she can act
You know for the female type of the HUman species, the body counts for evething, if shes hot then hollywood would easily turn her into a block nuster movie star but she must also get a good script. I think since shes a fantacy gal she make for mabe two years..Anto Lucas a.k.a anto006
I dno’t she’s a good actor
she had prove herself on music and she is gud,let her try someting new mayb her career is on acting as well, she have nothing to lose so i say she must give it a try c where its lead, because opotunities like dis are rare
