Celebrate Your New Years Eve in Style
Have you made your plans for New Years Eve (NYE) yet? As we kick off December we start to count down the days until 2010. Be sure you ring in the new year with a bang by having your celebrations in place. With so many options for celebrating we’ve broken down some ways you can cruise in the new year. Check out these options from crazy to chill in your town.
Massive Parties
Looking for a huge and crazy way to celebrate? There are massive parties around South Africa that have DJs, dancing and drinks for an all night party. Make sure your shoes are comfortable because you won’t be sitting much here.
Clubs/Bars
Not really looking for something that organised? Check out your favourite club or bar and see what they have going on for NYE. Just remember to check the dress code before you go, places tend to be strict on big nights!
Street Bashes
Head to the streets, people will be gathering to scream in the New Year with fireworks and spontaneous parties on a street near you. Be careful of cars and keep it legal.
House Parties
Don’t feel like going to a massive party? Check out who’s having a house party. Bring your own drinks to keep it flowing, you never know who’s in charge of booze. Just make sure things are going off before you head out.
Chill Sessions
Grab some drinks and chill with your friends, you don’t have to go big to have a good night. Mix up some party punch and get the right jams playing. Resist the urge to turn on the TV or radio, it’s up to you to set the mood.
Near the Beach?
Head towards the water to see if you can catch some fireworks or bring your own. Bring music in one way shape or form, this is New Years after all. Just resist the urge to jump in the water and steer clear of waves if you’ve been drinking!
Whatever you end up doing on NYE, be safe and have fun!
