AUL-African United Liberation party. Why AUL? -It works for every SA citizen, unlike falsely targeting the poor. -Its chief aim is to curb threatening human issues,i.e Health,Unemployement,Education amongst other issues. ?

I hear u @Universalman , however the question is how long will they pay themselves before pocketing the monies allocated to them in their pockets. Is indeed that politics in this era in which we are living are all about self enrichment? With no doubt they are my dear friend and the other question is at who's expence? Again with no doubt at the expense of tax payers money. No body will be a politician without having benefited something in return and that is either tenders, money somehow inappropriate allocated to them and lately pleasing buddies.

lol fly by nite @terican2000 interesting, I think this one is fly by day...lol

Poetic, indeed other parties are offering that, but thats exactly what the nation has a deficiency of,isnt it? Our goal maybe common, the difference comes with path to be journed to arrive there.

I think AUL must campaign on somethin we have not heared before... The rullin party is promisin somethin in this case what this party is promisin, then the oppositions says they will make the promise better... Why not go out there and build a hospital, schools then campaign...

targeting the poor and the rich at once is not an easy task, the needs are totally different.
every party needs employed/rich members, they are the ones that pay membership fees, invest into the party. this money is used to campagn, adverts on radio, tv, print media, bill boards etc, paying for fligths, accomodation, stadiums, halls for party leaders at targeted areas
if voted in these rich people need tax rebates for their businesses, tax rebates on imports, exports, income and houses etc, they also need infrastructure for tourism, crime reduction, land rezoning to retail and industrial, what else?

the power of the poor people is their sheer numbers, these numbers are the same number of hands waiting for service once you are voted in, including all those people who didnt even vote for you. all these people need decent houses, running water, tar roads, electricity, sustainable employment, health infrastructure, proper schooling programmes and infrastructure, grants, have i missed any thing else?

the money this country collects at the end of every financial year is never enough to do all these at once, never mind the fact that we owe other countries and international organisations. THE PRESIDENTIAL SEAT IS A HOT SEAT, stuck between paying back all those who placed you there(party) and accountability to the rest of the country
