@thibo-motaung dats so true dat it wil take time but ey, back then it ws unbelievable dat we can make ISS but there it is floating on the space wer there is no oxigen and all that and ppl can stay there, so everything is possible...

I have seen that documentary but as I've said, this is an ongoing research. They are still determining how to make the resources of the moon surfaces available to humans before they can actually colonize it. It is feasible but the moon surface contains substances and material that is not so native to humans and most of which is radioactive to us e.g. moon dust. Like you are saying, they want to station there but they will need supplies for oxygen and water. They have already discovered that soil dust in the moon can be converted into water and that they can seperate water into oxygen and hydrogen and that if they take photosynthesizing plants to the moon, they are automatically bringing a potent oxygen supply. But this will take years before it is possible and there's plenty of reasons why, one is the fact that this whole idea is been modeled on earth.

@thibo-motaung is not like a planet, its a tour, ppl wil pay to use this plane to go to the moon, other planets and jst to go to the space not though NASA like mark shattleworth, they r planning to hv a permanent station on the moon and mars jst like international space station(ISS) dat is floating on the space as we r toking ryt now

@thibo-motaung i'm not sayin i dont blv on scientist but i only blv wen they r producing something visible and something believeble, i kno if it wsnt scietist, we wer not goin to be communicating now cos from them we got internet,cellphones etc but wen they start to tok about crap hee-e i dnt agree with them, maybe is bcos i watch lota of national geographics AND DIscovery channel..about moving to other planet, there is plane dat is about to oparate very soon, u must read about NASA website ,

Well I may not believe in some scientists but I strongly believe in scince and technology. Not only the scientific methods can be tested and replicated to obtain the desired result, but are falsifiable. Meaning that, unlike religion and politics, they are constantly evolving and thus can stand the test of time.

Moving to other planets or solar bodies is still an ongoing research and it will go on for a very long time before we can even consider the possiblity of actually inhabiting the outer space, simply because it's expensive and our monetary and market systems do not fully support the possibility. Nonetheless, science still remains the only feasible solution to saving our planet.

Well it's true that things like global warming, natural disaster like tsunamis, solar falres and the possibility of being by an astreoid (remember what happened to the dinosours), but people still are naive and so ignorant of the evidence. Look at how climate change is affecting our daily lives. It's crazy.

@thibo-motaung maybe ey, there is very high rising in technology and lots of captivating developments and the rise of number of cars increase the emission of lots of toxic gases that r damaging awa solar system, so one cant deny dat even if its not 2012 but something of bizarre nature will happen sooner or later, we kinda kno toooo much now, we even planning to have a plane design 4 space trips, everything is on its end, cutting edge technologies, catastrophic natural deserters like tsunamis... i blv dat somethin will happen,, somethin like a doomsday...


@opthizet its not about counting, is jst like awa ordinary calendar, every month end of December we close the chapter and start the new one from January again,only year change, so imagine if every chapter of awa calendar represent something catastrophic.... sometimes to explain to u is waste of time lool jst kidding nigger lol

They just wanna make us fear there is no world ending. at the beginning of the 21st century apparently the world 'came to an end' but lol look around we here. Not long ago christians had the same notion but look around nothing came to an end. These things are based on some1s opinions, if we were all to die tomorrow we should its fine just that no one will ever know.

May be solar flare is what the heat wave refers to. It is also called electromagentic or geomagnetic storm. This is caused by a solar wind shock wave and/or cloud of magnetic field which interacts with the Earth's magnetic field. To see how a powerful one can do to the earth you should watch the movie called Knowing by Nicholas Cage.

@thibo-motaung wow u so informative ey, all i kno is dat, according to this website " http://www.december212012.com/ " that is recommended by national geographic, discovery channel and history channel, they say mayas calendar is ending and it’s like the whole world is goin to be rebooted and all human being wil kinda vanish like dinosaurs cos there will be extremely heat wave and dis will cos all vegetable dat we kinda depend on 4 food to wither and ocean will evaporate and cos lots of rain and floods like tsunamis

i dont agree or disagree with those ppl but it kinda freak me out ,

Well if you are refereing to the article from NASA, is hard not believe and also not hard to. Well it is said in this article (http://solarstormwarning.com/)that the earth will soon start to cross through the absolute center of the dark rift of the Milky Way around 12.21.12. The rift is dark because it's littered with lots of space debris that consists of stationary rocks and boulders, even asteroids, and some objects which are planet size. This "dark rift" is the galactic gravitational plane of the Milky Way which traps all of this space debris. As the Earth passes through this plane, we may very well see a meteorite storm producing thousands of rocks that come raining out of the sky with hundreds, possibly thousands of meteorites making it all the way to the ground. We will just have to see what really happens. Keep in mind that countries around the world have long since built massive deep underground survival bunkers for 2012 and beyond.

Additionally, solar scientist are concerned that this gravitational plane (that is the backbone to the Milky Way's dark rift) may send the sun on a rampage which sets off powerful x-class solar storms and CMEs. (coronal mass ejections) It's these x-class storms that have the ability to generate an EMP event (electromagnetic pulse) like the one that hit the Earth in 1859. Once that happens again with today's technological world of electronics, the United States will go dark in about three minutes or less, along with the rest of the world.
