We're all on a journey of self-discovery. In a world full of distractions, we silence the voices that tell us "we can't". I'm a young women who is trying to find herself, in books, music, art, conversations and in other people. I've got big dreams that sometimes seem unattainable. Its difficult when you don't have the right people around you, that will motivate and help build your character. The world can be a cold and lonely place when you're alone. Its great to know that there's someone who cares about the path you take. I had a friend who reminded me that I am worthy of success, it doesn't matter who's watching I must learn to live for myself but never forget who I am and where I come from. Although, i'm scared of realising my true potential, my "life on the edge" begins today. Today I will be the person I was born to be. Today I Will begin to walk on my chosen path. I am strong. I am Educated. I am Black. My mind is liberated from the chains of doubt and insecurities. Today I live.15303
