Television being one of the most influencial media excercises,I often wonder if its helping in sufficiently condoning the concept of 50/50.Women in my opinion,are still portrayed as a man's helper.Wat dink jy?

tv and real life are very different things. there are some men that are trying out the whole me and my woman are equal thing but than a black man is hard to crack. if he thinks that than he is assumed to be whipped. old habits die hard.

Agree with leek - tv sometimes portrays fiction. But i can agree that 50/50 is still hard to be implemented.. we still have old ways of thinking. But as a woman - who am I to complain? As for being a "man's helper" i think women have come a long way and we've become waaay more empowered, so I kinda disagree.

Its indeed true that tv portrays fiction,but that fiction influnces a whole of viewers. Anele,perhaps "men's helper" wast such an description of what i intended describe how females are portrayed,glad you got my point.

Ka khelobedu re re khomo go toswa yewe e itsosago. something to do with a cow that is being lifted is actually the one that lift itself. What i am trying to say is, whether TV is aiding or worsening it all depends on individuality, though there are some women who go yay for 50/50, there are still those that go well, my man is a king. It all depends on what u wanna take in. 50/50??
