Think of every epic house party you have been to and multiply it by 100. The scale of insane you will reach won’t even come close to Project X.

This movie is produced by the same guy responsible for the Hangover, Todd Phillips. In other words you know it is going to be filled with the same one liners and debaucherous antics you will mimic for weeks. If you thought a group of guys let loose in Vegas for the weekend equated to a night you will never forget, imagine what happens when a house in a small suburb is left to 3 horny teenagers looking to become popular?

The movie is loosely based on the house party of Corey Worthington (Delaney) in Australia. The then-teenager posted the address of his house party on MySpace, attracting around 500 people and caused over $20,000 in property damage. His party attracted journalists and was widely disliked by the public. The movie though includes a little more than 500 people and damage well over $20,000.

Did you know that some of the foota
ge that was shot by the cast was done with cell phones, Flip, iPhones and Blackberrys, all of which were handed out by the crew. Over 10 hours of footage was recorded mostly due to the cast continuously recording.

This movie has a lot going for it, such as great music, awesome party games and how to deal with grumpy neighbours.
Caution though, this movie will leave you wanting to host your own house party. If that is the case just remember we live in the real world.
