1. Lil Wayne and Drake Battlin’ it out in court.
There was no illegal possession of guns…this time – but a club appearance no-show! Drake and Lil Wayne are being sued $400 000 by Imperial Entertainment Group for not showing up at a club. The rappers aren’t taking this one sitting down though, claiming that they had no knowledge of the event and that the company who booked them,Melanzh, Enterprises – did not have the authority to do so. They claim that not only was there no mention of the event to them or their people – but also no mention of the court case. They say no court documentation was ever received. It is said that they may just win this one, and if they do, they will never have to work with Imperial Entertainment Group again.
2. Jigga-J digs Obama’s way.
Jay-z is one of the most successful men in history and now we know why!
Not only is he talented, he is also open to diversity and understands that people need to be accepted no matter what race, sexual preference or nationality they are.
Jay-Z recently stated that he agrees with Obama’s recent approval of Gay Marriage, and that he has always felt as though the discrimination against gay people in the United States has been an issue that has held the country back. He also stated that he feels as though discriminating a gay person is the same as discriminating a black person – both are wrong and should be fought against. Looks like the HOV-nation is a place free of discrimination!
3. Kim K – A hairy weasel or plain honest?
It’s no surprise that Kim uses her ASSets as an excuse for all sorts of things… but using her hairy arms to get out of a lawsuit?

4. Ray J – an unwelcome guest
Although many people were against Ray J’s relationship with the late Whitney Houston, it seems none were as opposed to it as her own family was. It was requested by Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister in law, that Ray J be forcibly removed from the Billboard Music awards after he was seated next to them. Pat was furious, claiming that Ray J contributed toward Whitney’s death by influencing her negatively. This all took place moments before a tribute to Whitney Houston. Ray J later stated that Pat robbed him of a great opportunity to honour the woman he loved.
5. NEYO – The gentlemen is no theif
The media has been going haywire with accusations that Neyo’s new album R.E.D ripped the title from the Game’s album with the same title.
Neyo has stated that this is not the case, and that his album R.E.D stands for “Reaching Every Dream” and is in no way related to the Game’s album released in 2011. He said that he chose the title because he felt it was a good fit for the album.
Neyo isn’t very bothered by the hype – stating that The Game hasn’t got a problem with it, and his opinion is the only one that matters.
In response to the Media frenzy, The Game stated that “Ne–Yo is a cool dude. I’m sure that the reasons for choosing the title that he did are legit.”
Now that’s love!
