The first time we meet the cute girl or guy; we stare at their lips and wonder how “sweet” they taste. We spend a lot of time fantasising about that moment. The chemistry grows stronger, adrenalin rushes become the least of our problems because we just want to feel that first connection of lips. For many it is the best feeling ever, all their fantasies transform into reality but sometimes what we thought was going to feel like heaven feels like hell and all we want to do is run and never come back. Student Village went to the UJ and asked a few students about the worst kisses they have ever had. This is what they had to say:

Tshepo Moremong (20) (Accounting)

“I was on a sports tour in grade 7 when I had my worst kiss. We were in the bus coming from an event when it began to rain. The window was opened and rain drops where coming down my face mixing with my sweat. I had too much of it (sweat) because I had just competed in athletics. As I was kissing her she frowned and had a disgusted look and she told me there was suddenly a salty taste in her mouth. I immediately knew it was sweat and so did she. I was so embarrassed and scared that she will tell all her friends and bring down my status at school. I hated it.”

 

Bongani Msiza (20) (Accounting)

“I never want to remember my worst kiss. I think it was the worst of the worst. My relationship ended because of it. The kiss did not get to the tongue. I think she planned it too much before the actual thing happened. Kisses are not something you plan, they come naturally. She just froze and all the actions were just a turn off.” When asked to elaborate on what really transpired, Bongani refused and said he did not want to remember it. People, take Bongani’s advice and don’t plan kisses. It never works out the way you planned it to.

“My worst kiss was when a guy literary vacuumed me with his tongue and shoved it down my throat. I felt terrified and violated. He insulted my kissing intelligence”

Mandisa Zwane (20) (Accounting)

“My worst kiss was when a guy hit every spot on your face with his tongue other than my lips. After the very short lived kiss, I had to wash my face because I had saliva everywhere. To make matters worse his saliva had a funny smell and taste. I was so disgusted that I even had rash in all places he touched me. I haven’t seen the guy since. Too bad he had looks but no skill.”
