Strongbow is going old school, bringing South Africa’s undiscovered talent to 3 ultimate showdowns. Watch DJ’s battle it out, one on one where only the best will remain standing.

Victors will get the street cred they deserve plus R5000 cash if they can turn up the heat and get the crowds behind them.

Up and coming DJs are encouraged to enter an original mix which will be entered into the Strongbow DJ competition on Yfm. 12 entrants from the competition will be selected, and their original mixes will be hosted on the YFM website, and played over the air waves on Friday's. Listeners can then vote in and select their favourite two entrants each week for the month of February. The 6 finalists will then be paired off and will battle it out head on at one of three Strongbow Do You Know events that will be taking place in Johannesburg, Soweto and Pretoria late February leading into March.

25th February: East Rand, Bahama,DJ Fistaz,  DJ Mixwell 

26th February:Soweto, Masakeng, Zahara 

3rd March: Mamelodi, The Village, DJ Cleo
