UJ’s Arts & Culture Department is all set this March to release it's new Arts and Culture magazine called “Art Much?”


The magazine is proof that UJ’s Art and Culture Department is moving in the right direction. National Arts Festival Director, Ismail Mahomed said “This is phenomenal! A publication like this is long overdue.”

Ashraf Johaardien, Head of UJ Arts & Culture There is so much to get excited about this month, including feature articles by arts personalities Michelle Constant, Gerard Robinson and Renette Bouwer, articles about recent Tunkie Dance Award recipient Gladys Aghulas and the tenth anniversary of the Artscape New Writing Programme in Cape Town.

 
There’s more, award-winning playwright Pieter Jacobs announces his latest play in an interview with Precious Mapulte and Moira de Swardt reviews the UJ Dance Production “Alice Who?’ directed and choreographed by Owen Lonzar.


“Art Much?” is your guide to knowing all the latest in Arts and Culture. The launch edition of “Art Much? UJ Arts and Culture Magazine,” will be available from 1 March 2012 in both print and electronic formats.
